This Click was taken in the district of Santiago de Surco in Lima, where the “Festival del Arte Surcano” brings together local artisans under the municipality’s cultural programme to showcase crafts, gastronomy and devotional art in the streets and plazas. One of the most striking expressions of that art are alfombras made from coloured sawdust and flower petals, like the one in this Click, which echo Surco’s long‑running tradition of designing large carpets with religious motifs during Holy Week.
Every Good Friday, Surco’s Plaza de Armas becomes an open‑air gallery of these ephemeral works, laid out along the path of the Señor de la Agonía in the Santo Sepulcro procession; neighbours, youth groups and artisan collectives work through the night drawing outlines on the ground, filling them with dyed sawdust, and adding fresh flowers before the sun rises. The municipality even hosts the Concurso Nacional de Alfombras Florales, a national competition that has passed its twenty‑fifth edition and awards prizes to the most intricate designs, so carpets like the one the click captured – with grapes, church façades and images of Christ – are part of a friendly rivalry that repeats every year and keeps the streets of Surco glowing with color, creativity and faith for just a few precious hours.

This Click was taken in Idemili North Local Government Area of Anambra State, one of the most densely populated and rapidly urbanising parts of southeastern Nigeria, where new multi‑storey buildings, churches and small markets fill what used to be semi‑rural communities between Onitsha and Awka. The church at the end of the street is dedicated to St Peter the Apostle, part of the Catholic Archdiocese of Onitsha’s growing network of parishes in Idemili, and it has become a local anchor for weddings, youth groups and big seasonal liturgies, from Palm Sunday processions to crowded Easter Masses that spill out onto the forecourt.
Running behind the rooftops in this Click are high‑tension pylons belonging to the Alaoji–Onitsha 330 kV transmission line, a federal upgrade project meant to more than double power‑carrying capacity into Anambra and surrounding states but also controversial because hundreds of buildings have been marked for demolition along its corridor. For residents of Idemili North that story of development is personal: local leaders post regular messages about the line, compensation and resettlement, often alongside the same Easter and Palm Sunday greetings that celebrate community resilience and faith.
The click layered those threads into a single view – children in bright clothes walking toward church, traders opening shops at ground level, the parish tower watching over the lane, and, beyond it all, the distant river flats and pylons reminding everyone that this corner of Anambra sits at the meeting point of old village life, intense spirituality and the heavy cables of a country still trying to wire its future.

📊👀 #BTC is showing positive momentum, but impulse turned flat. That usually means one thing: short-term strength, no follow-through.
Momentum can push price higher short term, but without impulse bursting, it often ends in a failed attempt. Sellers still have the edge.

EthCC, you sure left a mark! Still carrying the energy from last week
Now we’re ON to turning all that momentum into real impact on our network. Let’s see what we ship this week 👀
PS: Spot yourself on the wall? Tag away!
